Governor Gavin Newsom on March 19, 2020, issued a Stay At Home Order for the entire State of California. This means you cannot leave your home except to carry out essential activities. The State of California has released four stages to reopening the State. More information can be found at the California Department of Public Health.

Consistent with guidance issued by the Placer County Health Department, California Department of Public Health and the Centers for Decease Control, in order to minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Town of Loomis has minimized the hours the public counter at Town Hall is open. As of May 11, 2020, the public counter is open Monday through Thursday, from 9 am to noon. The public counter is closed Friday.

All programming and events at Town facilities have been suspended. This includes all programs at the Loomis Library and Community Learning Center and the Loomis Train Depot. Town playgrounds are currently closed.

The Town apologizes for the impact this decision may have on our residents.
